Taken on 2nd January 2004 by NASA's Stardust spacecraft, this image shows the nucleus of Comet
'Wild 2'. It is a very clear image of a comet nucleus, and the featured nucleus measures 5.5km in diameter. On the enlarged shot,
bright jets of dust and gas can apparently be seen erupting from the right-hand image.
