A nice false colour image of Neptune.

This image has been processed so that to obtain 'true colour balance', so the image is as we would see Neptune. We can clearly make out the clouds here, as well as the Great Dark Spot.

Here we can see a picture of Neptune's largest moon, Triton. It looks pink because of its slowly evaporating layer of Nitrogen ice.

As Voyager 2 was leaving Neptune, it took this magical picture of Neptune and its moon Triton.
